at the Municipal Elections of Modena
1. Streetlamp on the Head for every citizen of Modena
Every day, hundreds of streetlights remain on without anyone passing underneath.
We propose to eliminate all the streetlights in the city and to deliver a Headlamp for free to each resident. This way, we will save on public lighting.
2. Adoption of the 13-month Calendar
The Gregorian calendar is stupid and anachronistic. We propose adopting a new calendar that will make us freer and more serene.
Our calendar consists of 13 months, each with 28 days, plus an extra day called G-Day, which is not any day of the week.
3. Winter Olympics in Cognento
Cognento breathes sport and it's time to bring it into the international spotlight.
The bowling greens will be converted into curling rinks. The alpine ski slopes will be built close to the motorway, the ski jumping slope on the descent of the overpass.
4. Triangularization of road signs
We will transform all road signs into triangles to save on materials and production.
5. 1:1 scale Hogwarts in San Damaso
We propose to build a 1:1 scale reproduction of Hogwarts in San Damaso to create a magical and unique place in Europe.
In addition to this, we will establish a Quidditch team called Modena's Parrots that will aim to win the world championships and unite the city under one flag.
6. Alternative Transport Day
We will establish an annual day in which you will not be able to walk, ride a bike, or use cars, scooters, motorbikes, etc.
This will encourage the invention of new green modes of transport.
7. Exchange of Modena South with Modena North and of Modena West with Modena East
So tourists will get lost, stay longer and spend more money.
For example: all visitors arriving to see the Winter Olympics in Cognento will try to take the highway to the west, but will make a mistake and will go east, ending up at the Hogwarts of San Damaso. And what do you do if you stumble upon Hogwarts, don't you stop?
8. Renaming of the "Ghirlandina" to "Ghirlandona"
Nowadays marketing is everything. This is why we propose to change the name of our tower to Ghirlandona.
This way it will seem higher and will attract numerous investors, especially Arab emirs.
9. Establishment of the Mayor's Challenge
Once a month citizens will be able to challenge the mayor in any area, such as beach volleyball games or ragù competitions. This will strengthen community involvement and guarantee dialogue with institutions.
10. Salt the Panaro
And raise dolphins there.
